Soft drink major announces its India plans till 2020. The company plans to invest USD 5 billion in coming eight years.
New Delhi: The Coca-Cola Company announced on Tuesday that it intends to invest USD 5 billion in India by 2020.
The Coca-Cola Chief Executive Officer, Muhtar Kent described India as dynamic, young, and emerging.
While talking to media persons Mr. Kent said, “India is wonderfully diverse. As part of our 2020 vision, we plan to double our business. We are investing because we are confident this is the right decision, given the vast growth opportunities in this country. Our India story is one of the remarkable turnaround”.
