Mumbai: Around 285 candidates were given on-the-spot offers by recruiters while approximately 317 were shortlisted for further evaluation in the full-day job fair at Andheri on Saturday. The event was organized by Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in association with Khidmat Organization.
Syed Najeeb, General Secretary of AMP who was personally present for this event said “The response for this event has been quite overwhelming just as it has been during the earlier Job Fairs.. It is with immense pleasure we say that true to our call of being the catalyst of change for the better, we could extend our humble services to these job aspirants. It was all possible because of the selfless and meticulous teamwork of members from AMP and Khidmat Organization.”
Around 1100 job aspirants from across Mumbai attended event. The recruiters when contacted also conveyed that they were indeed very pleased with the way the event has been organized and conducted and the quality of the candidates whom they interacted with. This Job Fair gave a chance to the candidates to demonstrate their eligibility for vacancies in Sales, Marketing, Back office, Admin and other departments of prestigious firms and get access to different openings at one single location.
Mohsin Haider, Corporator from Andheri (West) said, “I am very pleased with the way this Job Fair has been conducted and the way we have welcomed candidates form all caste and religion. This is a fitting reply to the non-secular forces with narrow mindsets who are bent on disturbing the secular fabric of this great country. I would like to personally thank AMP for being a shining example of service to the community and the nation.”
